چکیده

This study demonstrates a two-step approach that enables quantification of concrete printability through dynamics mode rheological measurements; I) modeling shearing history during extrusion; II) monitoring the hardening evolution deposited material by applying strain smaller than critical strain. It is shown removed imposing pre-shearing above strain, and zero value yield stress measured for all specimens. At step II, linear extrapolation green strength development can quantify static at origin, which we used to printability. As far as this surpasses level exists in printed structure, retains its shape stability. We show performance model on series geopolymer mortars with wide range properties function composition, aging, consequences.

Rheological Characterization

The biogas process has long been a part of our biotechnical solutions for the handling of sewage sludge and waste. However, in many cases the existing process applications need to be optimized to improve the extent of biogas production as a part of the energy supply in a sustainable and viable society. Although the principles are well known, process disturbances and poor substrate utilization i...

Open-Source 3D-Printable Optics Equipment

Just as the power of the open-source design paradigm has driven down the cost of software to the point that it is accessible to most people, the rise of open-source hardware is poised to drive down the cost of doing experimental science to expand access to everyone. To assist in this aim, this paper introduces a library of open-source 3-D-printable optics components. This library operates as a ...

A 3D-Printable Polymer-Metal Soft-Magnetic Functional Composite—Development and Characterization

In this work, a 3D printed polymer-metal soft-magnetic composite was developed and characterized for its material, structural, and functional properties. The material comprises acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) as the polymer matrix, with up to 40 vol. % stainless steel micropowder as the filler. The composites were rheologically analyzed and 3D printed into tensile and flexural test specim...

Hands-free Evolution of 3D-printable Objects via Eye Tracking

Interactive evolution has shown the potential to create amazing and complex forms in both 2-D and 3-D settings. However, the algorithm is slow and users quickly become fatigued. We propose that the use of eye tracking for interactive evolution systems will both reduce user fatigue and improve evolutionary success. We describe a systematic method for testing the hypothesis that eye tracking driv...
